Lowe’s Home Improvement, a committed partner of Habitat for Humanity’s (lebanonorgeonhabitat.com) mission, has announced that from January 1 through March 31, 100 percent of all donations made through Lowe’s Be the Change campaign will be directed to Habitat for Humanity International. The campaign invites customers to help retailers with the national coin shortage and help put coins back into circulation by donating change at the registers, which will be turned into dollars to support the mission of Habitat for Humanity to build the capacity of the network, sustain existing programs, and design innovative programs. The Be the Change campaign runs in all Lowe’s U.S. locations, including Albany’s 1300 9th Ave SE location.
