Our Mission & Vision

Seeking to put God’s love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities, and hope. We are driven by a singular, clear goal: creating a world where everyone has a decent place to live.

How We Build Community

We partner with local families to build strong futures through our Homeownership Program. Selected applicants work alongside dedicated volunteers to construct their own houses, which they eventually purchase through affordable, manageable mortgages. By providing a path to permanent residency, we help families gain the stability they need to thrive.

We help longtime residents stay in the homes they love by addressing urgent maintenance and safety needs. Our team provides essential services like weatherization, roof replacements, and accessibility ramps to ensure our neighbors can live independently and safely. These vital improvements preserve existing housing and keep local neighborhoods vibrant.

The ReStore serves as the sustainable engine that funds our local mission through the resale of donated goods. By shopping or donating, you help us finance new home construction while keeping usable materials out of area landfills. It is a community resource where every purchase supports local housing & environmental responsibility.

Other Services

Affordable Supplies

Our facility offers the community access to a wide variety of low-cost building materials, tools, hardware, and home decor. Whether you are a DIY enthusiast or a professional contractor, you can find high-quality supplies at a fraction of retail prices. Every dollar spent at the ReStore is reinvested directly into our local efforts to build affordable homes.

Environmental Sustainability

We serve as a dedicated community recycling center for metals and reusable goods, turning potential waste into valuable resources. By diverting functional items from the landfill, we promote an eco-friendly lifestyle while providing the public with affordable alternatives. This program reduces our local carbon footprint while generating critical funding for our mission.

Professional Paint Recycling

We provide a responsible disposal solution for leftover paint while offering high-quality, eco-friendly reused paint at a significant discount. Our recycling process ensures that hazardous materials stay out of the environment and are instead repurposed for beautiful home projects. This service helps residents save money while supporting a cleaner, greener community.
