Find Stability and Safety

Habitat for Humanity Programs

Everyone deserves a safe, decent place to call home. Whether you need help fixing your current house or are dreaming of buying your first home, Habitat for Humanity is here to partner with you.

Home Repair & Preservation

If your home needs essential repairs to keep it safe and livable, we may be able to help. We provide minor and critical repair services—such as roofing, plumbing, electrical, and weatherization—to help you stay in the home you love.

Is my home eligible? We currently serve homeowners in Linn County within the following ZIP codes: 97355, 97327, 97386, 97345, and 97329.

How the process works We simplify the repair process by finding high-quality, low-cost solutions for you. After you submit an interest form, we will visit your home to inspect the needs and provide a cost estimate. If approved, we use a mix of volunteer labor and donated materials to keep costs down. Any additional costs for professional contractors are covered by a zero-interest loan, making your repairs truly affordable.

Take the first step: Fill out our interest form to see if your project qualifies.

The Path to Homeownership

Owning a home provides a foundation for a better life. Our Homeownership Program is a unique partnership where we help you prepare for the responsibilities of being a homeowner—from managing finances and mortgages to maintaining your new house.

What to expect This is an in-depth process that requires dedication. If selected, you will partner with us through "sweat equity," helping to build your own home or volunteering at a Habitat ReStore. In return, you will have the opportunity to purchase a safe, quality home with an affordable mortgage.
