As we move into the winter season, we are reflecting on what "home" truly means. It is more than just a destination; it serves as the essential foundation for a better future and a stronger tomorrow. This quarter has been particularly meaningful as we celebrate the dedication of our 31st home, a three-bedroom, two-bathroom house built for the McMahon family with the help of CSC YouthBuild and our dedicated local partners.
Our commitment to building a better community extended beyond construction this year through our participation in the national Team Up initiative. As one of only 14 affiliates selected nationwide, we completed projects focused on fostering inclusion and a sense of belonging across our diverse local populations. We are also proud of the continued growth at the ReStore, where we welcomed 81 new volunteers and successfully diverted 79 tons of waste from landfills in the last fiscal year.
Looking ahead, we have several exciting ways for you to get involved and support our mission. From our upcoming Black Friday and Cyber Monday ReStore sales to our Panda Express fundraiser on November 30th, every contribution helps us build. We are also participating in global campaigns like Giving Tuesday and the Holiday Give bottle drop match to keep our momentum going through the end of the year.
